WHAT WE'RE WORKING ON

Petition Drive:

We are down to the final week to gather petition signatures to be qualified as a political party 
in New Mexico with a ballot line and the ability to run candidates. We have gathered just over 
1000 signatures so far and hope to turn in 5000-6000 to ensure enough (3000) are valid.

We have made a good start, but we need your help this week! Please print the attached petition, 
get as many signatures as possible, and mail to GPNM, POB 44285, SF NM, 87502 no later than 
April 1. Alternately, call Rick at 505-920-0540 to find out about scheduled petitiong activities 
or to drop off petitions in Santa Fe.

Three of us gathered 150 signatures in an hour and a half this afternon, so we know that with enough 
helpers we can accomplish this task. Please join us!

State Convention:

Sunday March 25 at the UNM Law School. We will be electing party officers and getting updates on 
various Green Party initiatives. The Bernalillo County convention will be from 1-2 PM followed by 
the state convention from 2:30-4:30
