Message from your new Co-Chair

Fellow Greens,

Thank you for electing me to Chair the Green Party of Santa Fe this year.  It is my sincerest hope to see our membership grow this year and into the future as we work to do some good for the planet and the people of Santa Fe.  

We have initiated some new groups in hopes of whetting your civic appetites:

People for a Nuclear Free World (NFW) is working on ways to reduce our dependence on nuclear technology and cleaning up some of the nuclear debt left to us from the previous generations.   nuclearfreeworld@googlegroups.com

TIPS is a group seeking to obtain minimum wage for food servers and others in the service industry who are paid as little as $2.13 per hour by their employers and rely on tips to make up the difference (more than $60 per day to reach min. wage).                                                  tipscampaign@googlegroups.com

The Committee to Legalize Marijuana (CLM) is working to take advantage of progressive legislation and push the bounds of what is currently legal in hopes that one day marijuana will be considered just another plant.  clmsc@googlegroups.com
